MAMPU Kita Edition 17 (Closing/Oct – Nov 2020)

MAMPU Kita Newsletter is published bimonthly to inform the news of achievements and activities of MAMPU Program, Governments of Australia and Indonesia, and our civil society organisation (CSO) partners.

In this final edition of MAMPU Kita, various parties involved in the 8 years of MAMPU journey addressed their testimonials and messages about how MAMPU has contributed to convene multi-stakeholders, civil society and the government to achieve its main goal, which is the gender equality and women’s empowerment all across the archipelagic country, particularly in the 27 provinces of MAMPU working areas. The MAMPU closing events were held all online and has successfully concluded the program’s main goals seemingly, namely ‘improving grassroots women’s organisation capacity and readiness’, ‘strengthening their voice and influence’, and ultimately, improving their access to essential government services.

MAMPU Program is a joint initiative between the Government of Australia and the Government of Indonesia. The Program supports the achievement of the Government of Indonesia’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by developing women’s leadership and empowerment, ultimately so that they have increased access to essential services and government programs.
