Women’s Journey in Driving Change: Women’s Collective Action and Village Law Implementation in Indonesia

This volume shares the life journeys of 21 women form rural villages from Sumatera, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and East and West Nusa Tenggara. The stories of the village women offer unique insights into women’s aspirations, the challenges they have encountered and their achievements across multiple scales and domains, illustrating the lived complexities of women in rural Indonesia, particularly those from vulnerable groups.
