20 University of Sydney Students Visit MAMPU

On July 9-20, 2018, 20 students from the University of Sydney visited MAMPU Program in Indonesia. Guided by the Sydney South East Asia Centre (SSEAC), the students learned about women’s issues and movements in Indonesia. They learned about various topics such as violence against women, women empowerment and women policies, wowmen and community organization, and women and religion. They visited MAMPU partners in Jakarta and South Sulawesi, namely Komnas Perempuan, LBH Apik, KAPAL Perempuan, BaKTI, ‘Aisyiyah and YKPM.
