Over the past six months, Tana Toraja Regency in South Sulawesi has noted a number of encouraging developments related to integrated services (P2TP2A) that have been supported by the Situru Kombungan Foundation, a MAMPU Partner.

Their achievements include:

  1. Advocacy of PERDA No. 4 of 2017 on the Protection of Women and Children.
  2. Assisted the Office of Women’s and Children’s Empowerment (DP3A) to create a strategic plan (Renstra). This plan was then tested through public consultation and succeeded in making the DP3A Renstra become a model for the relevant WTO.
  3. Establishment of P2TP2A Institution through a Decree of District Head of Tana Toraja No. 13 / V / 2017 on the Establishment of the Integrated Service Center of Women and Children Empowerment Center (P2TP2A) for Tana Toraja District.
  4. Assisted drafting the SOP (Standard Operational Procedure) for P2TP2A’s handling of cases authorized by the Head of PP-PA (DP3A).
  5. Securing new allocation in Tana Toraja P2TP2A budget for 4 counsellors and for free visas.
