Realisation of the Regional Development Plan: ‘Aisyiyah Pangkep Cooperate with the Regional Working Units

‘Aisyiyah Pangkajene & Islands (PDA Pangkep) held a meeting with the regional working units (SKPD) to push for adoption of priority issues in the two villages and four urban villages on Thursday (3/3). Held in the Hall of SMA Muhammadiyah Pangkajene, the forum was attended by the Department of Manpower (Disnaker), Department of Cooperatives, Industry and Trade (Diskoperindag), Department of Marine and Fisheries (DKP), Family Development Committee (BPPKB) and the District Government. According to Nhany Rachman, PDA Pangkep, the proposal was done through citizen dialogue forums, aspirations meeting at the village level, and village and sub district development plan meetings. The presence of SKPD is expected to encourage the realisation of the proposal.

“‘Aisyiyah community leaders (kader) have been actively attending development planning meetings and other aspirations forums. ‘Aisyiyah proposed supplementary budget to boost the empowerment of women through the regional budget. The supplementary budget will be used to purchase medical supplies for VIA test, the increase capital for microenterprise groups, purchase of livestock for women, entrepreneurship training, and the provision of a wheelbarrow and skills training for women’s group, “said Nhany.

Zaenal Sanusi, the District Secretary of Pangkajene responded positively to ‘Aisyiyah’s suggestions. He said they would push for the proposals to be presented in regional development plan meeting on behalf of PDA Pangkep.

“We support the proposal to implemented with the support SKPD. Aid for training in entrepreneurship and venture capital is certainly related to SKPD Diskoperindag. While aid for training such as tailoring and supplying the engine associated with Disnaker. As for the aid for processed fishery products is associated with DKP. We will ensure the realization of the proposal,” said Zaenal.

In line with Zaenal, representatives from each SKPD revealed that the forum held by ‘Aisyiyah Pangkajene is part of a pre local government unit forums. Asdar, Head of Disnaker said that coordination between SKPD with ‘Aisyiyah should continue outside the forum. According to him, ‘Aisyiyah must escort the proposal to the district even immediately reminded SKPD visit directly into the field.

“The proposed issue priority document from ‘Aisyiyah is a reference for us together to encourage the advancement of women in Pangkep. Through this occasion in the near future we invite 5 representatives from ‘Aisyiyah to attend the training which will be held by the Disnaker,” Asdar said while closing the meeting.
