Komnas Perempuan Submitted the Draft of Sexual Violence Elimination Bill to DPD RI

On 23rd August 2016, The National Commission on Anti-Violence against Women (Komnas Perempuan) and Forum Pengada Layanan (FPL) submitted the draft of Academic Paper and the Bill on the Elimination of Sexual Violence to the Chairman of the Commission III of the Regional Representatives Council Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI).
DPD responded immediately by conducted a plenary session to establish the Bill Draft on the Elimination of Sexual Violence as the DPD RI initiative. Furthermore, the Bill draft will be submitted to the House of Representatives and the President for further discussion.
