PIPA and 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence

Women and Children Information Services Unit (UPIPA), a part of Indonesia Women Crisis Center Network (FPL), held talk show entitled “A Dream Was Built Not To Be Destroyed” as a part of 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. This event was conducted in Wonosobo district hall on Friday (25/11).

Supported by MAMPU, the three and a half hour event was attended by 200 representatives of junior high schools, senior high schools, vocational schools and youth communities in Wonosobo. This activity aims to strengthen the youth’s understanding on violence issues especially in youth and also gain their support to enact the Anti-sexual Violence Law. The event was filled with performing arts, community discussion, group photo in front of the district hall and banner signing to enact Anti-sexual Violence Law (RUU Pencegahan Kekerasan Seksual).
