Yasanti and PPR DIY Discussed about Homeworker’s Rights on Health and Safety

On 16 September 2016, representatives of Home Workers group Yogyakarta and Yasanti conducted a public hearing to Manpower and Transmigration Office (Disnakertrans) D.I. Yogyakarta. The event was attended by 15 representatives. They did an advocacy related to occupational health and safety for the women homeworkers.
As a follow up, Disnakertrans officer commited to carry out training for 100 women homeworkers in four villages, such as: Bawuran Village and Segoyoroso village in Pleret sub-disctrict, Wukirsari village in Imogiri sub-district and Bangunjiwo village, in the Kasihan sub-district, Bantul. The training will be held on 4 – 7 October 2016.
