Project Brief: Balai Sakinah ‘Aisyiyah

Balai Sakinah ‘Aisyiyah (BSA) is a women group established by MAMPU Partner, ‘Aisyiyah, which aims to serve as a community empowerment medium in education, consultation, and complaint mechanism associated with reproductive health service.

BSA is present at the village level and implemented routinely in locations that are easy to access by its members, such as the village meeting hall, people’s house, as well as mosques or prayer rooms. Every BSA group has cadres that are responsible for mobilizing its members, community, as well as building collaboration with local village apparatus and health service providers.
