University Students Raise Support to Push for the Resolution of Sexual Violence Cases on Campus

To mark the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence Campaign, MAMPU Partner Sapa Institute and the Women’s Studies Center (WSC) of the Sunan Gunung Djati State Islamic University held a rally and public discussion on 4-5 December 2019 at the Sunan Gunung Djati campus in Bandung Municipality, West Java Province. The events were designed to foster the academic community’s awareness and support for the resolution of sexual
violence cases that occur on campus. Students from across all faculties were targeted by the campaign, which aimed to introduce the topic of gender-based violence and raise awareness about sexual violence from the perspective of education and the law.
