GISI is an acronym for Gerakan Infaq (ZIS) Sayang Ibu. It is a movement which provides and distributes Zakat Infaq Shodaqah (ZIS) to improve maternal and reproductive health. Through GISI, ‘Aisyiyah aims to raise awareness on the importance of Zakat to tackle reproductive health issues. Furthermore, ‘Aisyiyah wants to introduce the concept of using the ZIS’ fund to answer reproductive health issues with the community, such as funding the VIA test/pap smear inspection, Sadarnis (Breast Self-Exam), financing the treatment of cancer, childbirth and family planning services for women in need.

Regional Leader of ‘Aisyiyah Cirebon, Sri Ratna Istiqomah said all ‘Aisyiyah Regional Leaders with the help of LazisMu will launch GISI nationally.

Hilman Latief as the Chairman of LazisMu Management Board welcomed GISI program as a part of ZIS prior utilization plan.
