Home Workers in Mojokerto Finally Get the Social Protection Access

Mitra Wanita Pekerja Rumahan Indonesia (MWPRI) collaborates with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan of Mojokerto Regency, East Java in providing access to social security and social protection for homeworkers. From this cooperation, a total of 100 home workers in Mojokerto get the access of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (employment) with a free insurance premium for the first three months.

One of the issues faced by home workers is the absence of occupational safety and health protection during work. Therefore, this cooperation becomes an important breakthrough for the home workers to get social protection.
