MAMPU and Australian Embassy Visited PEKKA in Lembata, East Nusa Tenggara

[Lembata – 29 August 2016] MAMPU Team together with the representatives from the Australian Embassy to Indonesia conducted a field visit to Waowala, Lembata district, East Nusa Tenggara. They were welcomed by Traditional Head through traditional Waowala ceremony.

The visit aimed to have direct meeting with the PEKKA cadres to discuss about PEKKA’s progress and activities. They also discussed about KLIK Pekka, the implementation of government’s social protection programs in their village,  PEKKA’s contribution in the village, sharing experiences by PEKKA cadres, and also how PEKKA’s role in improving the livelihood of the people and the leadership skills of women in Waowala.
