Prior to Rural Development Planning Meeting, ‘Aisyiyah Sambas Met Related Regional Organisations

‘Aisyiyah Sambas in West Kalimantan met up with related regional organisations prior to Sambas’ Rural Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbangda). Held in the auditorium BAPPEDA Sambas, the event was attended by Sambas Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA), Family Welfare Movement (PKK), and Desperindag.

Nurlisa ‘Aisyiyah Sambas MAMPU coordinator, stated that this meeting is a start of ‘Aisyiyah’s active involvement in Sambas Musrenbangda. Through this, ‘Aisyiyah explained about MAMPU on-going program activities in Sambas.

Nurlisa said that MAMPU activities gained positive responses from the attendees also from the head of BAPPEDA – Ir.Daryanto, Chairman of Family Welfare Guidance Activator Sambas – Lusyanah Kosasih.

“Thanks to God MAMPU program received a positive response. ‘Aisyiyah were asked to draw up a timetable of our next year’s activities so that multi stakeholders could somehow be involved in our activities,” said Nurlisa.

The meeting did not only discuss ‘Aisyiyah’s involvement in Musrenbangda, ‘Aisyiyah aimed to further enhance multi-stakeholders collaboration in implementing MAMPU program in Sambas.

“We discussed several possible collaborations in the field of reproductive health such as trainings and possible collaboration with existing assemblies within ‘Aisyiyah”, explained Nurlisa.

Nurlisa hope that the meeting will strengthen ‘Aisyiyah’s relationship and coordination related regional organisations which could support ‘Aisyiyah’s MAMPU program.

“We hope this is a steppingstone of immense support for quality reproductive health services, realizing the regular reproductive health services at the primary care level also technical guidelines for allocating funds to the reproductive health of the village.”
