FAQ

Q: I represent a program/organisation/company that is trying to integrate a gender approach in our workplace, and we would like to learn from the experience of MAMPU and MAMPU partners. Can we arrange a meeting or learning session?

A: Please email us at info@mampu.or.id with the subject: [NETWORKING WITH MAMPU], detailing your program/organisation/company, what specifically you would like to learn from us, and a proposed time.

Q: I represent a mass media publication (print, broadcast, or online) and would like to interview someone from MAMPU on a certain issue related to gender equality and women’s empowerment. How should I get in touch?

A: Please email your interview request and attach the Media Interview Request Form to info@mampu.or.id, with the subject: [MAMPU INTERVIEW REQUEST] [Your name] from [your publication], and we will be in touch.

Q: I represent an organising committee of an upcoming event with a gender equality and women’s empowerment-related theme. We would like to ask for sponsorship from MAMPU, or to invite MAMPU to participate or to be a speaker at the event. How should I get in touch?

A: Please email your event proposal to info@mampu.or.id, detailing how you would like to partner with us in your event, with the subject: [MAMPU EVENT PARTICIPATION REQUEST NAME OF EVENT].

Q: I represent a non-governmental or civil society organisation that works on gender equality and women’s empowerment. How can I be a MAMPU Partner?

A: Thank you for your interest in women’s empowerment in general and MAMPU Program in particular. However, MAMPU already works with selected civil society organisations as our Partners until Program completion in 2020, and thus not accepting any new partners.

Q: I am developing a personal initiative for women’s empowerment in my neighbourhood/studying a subject or researching a topic/attending an event that is related to MAMPU’s work. Can I get any financial support from MAMPU for the aforementioned purpose?

A: Thank you for your interest in women’s empowerment in general and the MAMPU Program in particular. Unfortunately, we do not provide financial aid (grants, loan, sponsorship, scholarships, etc.) directly to individuals.

Q: I am a university student/representing an institution working on research related to MAMPU’s work. How can I get in touch for data-gathering purposes?

In the first instance, please refer to our Publications section for research which has been published by MAMPU or MAMPU Partners.

Please send a detailed request in writing to info@mampu.or.id, and fill in a Research Data Gathering Form and attach it with your request.

Q: I would like to get updates on the MAMPU Program. Is there any periodical publication, such as a newsletter, that I can subscribe to?

A: To get the latest updates on the MAMPU Program, you can follow our Twitter @ProgramMAMPU, and check out our bimonthly MAMPU Kita here.

Q: I represent myself/an organisation/a firm. I would like to offer my consultancy service (either pro-bono or professionally), or initiate networking or a business partnership, to support the implementation of the MAMPU Program. How can we cooperate?

A: When the need arises, MAMPU will seek to establish standing offer arrangements (or “Panels”) in multiple service categories with both individuals and firms who possess a wide range of skills, capabilities, and areas of expertise. You can find more info on our RFP page.

Q: I would like to apply for a vacancy advertised on the MAMPU website, but I have been having technical issues with applying online. How should I deal with this?

A: Please email your application with cover letter and attached curriculum vitae to recruitment@mampu.or.id. The same deadline applies.

Q: I am interested in helping MAMPU as a volunteer. How can I apply?

A: For further inquiries on this matter, email us with the subject heading: [MAMPU VOLUNTEER] and attach the Volunteering Form.

Q: I am interested in working at MAMPU as an intern. How can I apply?

A: When the need arises, MAMPU will seek qualified interns with different sets of skills to support different areas of our work. Follow us on Twitter @ProgramMAMPU to get timely updates on internship opportunities.

MAMPU also accepts internship applications all year round, but only a limited number of interns are accepted at any one time. Send us your proposal detailing your availability, academic background and professional skills, and how your knowledge and competence can support the work of the MAMPU Program, to info@mampu.or.id, with the subject: [MAMPU INTERNSHIP] APPLICATION – YOUR NAME.
