The Gender Observatory – COVID-19 and the Crisis (1st Edition/May 2020)

This first edition of what will be a monthly newsletter is aimed to share information on how COVID-19 crisis is affecting women and how both men and women are responding. The newsletter will report on government statistics, results from the many surveys underway, and will include stories from both the women and the local governments on the front line of the response who are prioritising the rights and appropriate interventions for women.  As this is the first newsletter, we welcome any feedback, comments or contributions to improve future editions.
