An Analysis of Local Level Regulations on Violence Against Women Influenced by MAMPU Partners
One of the themes of the Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment, or MAMPU is reducing violence against women (VAW). Part of the program of activities implemented by MAMPU partners has been to work with government and other non-government stakeholders to create policies, programs, and systems to prevent and respond to violence. Because of the large number of regulations that MAMPU partners have been involved in developing, through this paper the MAMPU Secretariat wanted to systematically explore the content to identify good practices for sharing between partners and with other interested actors.
