The provision of daycare policies and implementation is essential, especially regarding the unsolved problems such as low participation (daycare enrolment) rates among poor, lack of government investment, and few options for teacher training remain to solve. This review aims to gain a better understanding of the regulatory and institutional framework regarding childcare and to gather the examples of how childcare is operated and funded in Indonesia.
