Workshop on JKN Research Finding: Supporting Health Insurance Policy

The Indonesian Women’s Coalition for Justice and Democracy (KPI), supported by the MAMPU Program (Empowering Indonesian Women for Poverty Reduction), held a workshop about Research Findings and Writing on National Health Insurance (JKN) at Crown Prince Hotel, Surabaya, East Java on 14 – 15 May 2016.

The research was conducted in March-April 2016 in five provinces, such as: Aceh, Bengkulu, Yogyakarta, East Java and South Sulawesi. The workshop aimed to discuss the research results and write recommendations from it.

The workshop was attended by some representatives of the lead researchers, representatives of the KPI Secretariat and Agatha Retnosari, Member of Commission E (Public Welfare) East Java Provincial Parliament.

This research can provides input for the JKN policy and implementation, and provides input for the preparation of Balai Perempuan as the JKN Information Center and complaint record.
