Institute KAPAL Perempuan and dan Yayasan Pengkajian Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (YKPM), MAMPU Program partner and sub-partner, were participated in the discussion of the Regional Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMD) Pangkep, South Sulawesi year 2016 to 2021, together with Pangkep working units (SKPD) and parliament members.

The discussion was the part of Workshop on Sustainable Development Goals, with the theme “Creating Pangkep as Pioneer of Sustainable Development Goals Implementation “.

The workshop was facilitated by Prof. Darmawan from Hasanuddin University, to discuss about the year plan draft that has been drawn up, particularly explaining to legislators about RPJMD framework and plot.

Prof. Darmawan expressed, “Most of the time, data is still a major problem. It is because of the data from SKPD was incomplete and inaccurate. Whereas, accurate data base is required to make plans”.

According to Prof. Darmawan, there are still many working units who have not submitted the data report and gave incomplete data before the RPJMD finalization deadline. Thus, the strategic issues were not prepared in accordance with the achieved outcomes. Therefore, it needs active participation from Parliament members to remind SKPD to compile and produce accurate data.
